  • Coordinate with board layout engineers and mechanical engineers to create PCBs and integrated electronic packages.
  • Work with transducer teams to integrate electromechanical designs with electronic components.
  • Direct board and system bring-up activities to ensure proper functionality.
  • Participate in at-sea testing of sonar systems to validate performance in operational environments.
  • Develop system- and board-level tests to verify conformance to electrical and engineering specifications.
  • Apply test procedures to transfer products to manufacturing.
  • Support manufacturing in turnkey production and in-house testing of assembled PCBs and larger electronic subassemblies.
  • Interface with the engineering organization on engineering change orders, new product transfers, and bills of materials management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required; MSEE preferred.
  • 10+ years of hands-on analog design experience with low-noise techniques in circuit design and board layout.
  • Experience integrating, testing, and verifying complex systems; sonar or radar experience is a significant plus.
