Job Description
Join Deloitte's Government & Public Services GPS practice in New York, onsite, to design, build, and deploy generative AI data solutions that support federal, state, and local clients. This senior-level role offers a competitive salary range of USD 131,000 to 218,300 per year, with opportunities to create robust data pipelines, model training workflows, and production‑grade components for AI enabled products. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, while monitoring performance to enhance accuracy, reliability, and scalability. The position typically requires travel around 20% and the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy machine learning and AI solutions for business and client use cases
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, model training workflows, and production‑grade components that support AI enabled products
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, generate insights, and support model development and validation
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor model and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, or deploying machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics solutions
- 3+ years of experience programming in Python, PySpark, PyTorch, TensorFlow
- 3+ years of experience developing algorithms, model selection, training/validation/optimization, and evaluation at scale
- 1+ years of technology consulting experience in the Federal Health space
- 1+ years of experience working with AI technologies such as Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI
- Active certification in Python, PySpark, PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Travel around 20%, on average, based on work and client assignments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
