Job Description

Avenue Z, Inc. is hiring a Marketing AI Engineer to design, build, and ship production-ready AI agents, automations, and reporting systems that support paid media and client growth. This onsite role in Miami brings technical leadership to how agents are reviewed, documented, and released across service lines, while partnering closely with paid media, creator, affiliate, CRO, and ecommerce teams.

You will turn manual, repetitive workflows into systems that can move quickly without sacrificing brand safety or commercial judgment, and you will help standardize the agent delivery process through code and design review.

What you’ll do

Build and ship AI agents, automations, and reporting systems that run paid media, creator and affiliate campaigns, CRO, and client reporting at Avenue Z.
Integrate with the Meta Marketing API, TikTok Business and TikTok Shop APIs, Google Ads API, Snap, Shopify, and affiliate and creator platform APIs, including OAuth and token refresh, rate limits, webhooks, and partnership-access flows.
Create agents and automations for ad launching and QA, budget pacing and reallocation, creative tagging and performance intelligence, anomaly detection, and cross-platform commission tracking.
Build a reporting layer that shows what drove revenue, cross-referenced against Shopify as the source of truth.
Work with paid media, creator and affiliate, CRO, and ecommerce teams to audit current workflows from input to output and identify steps that should run automatically.
Convert messy manual processes into working systems inside weeks, including defining where human approval is required versus where the system can act on its own, especially when money or brand safety is involved.
Drive adoption through team training, feedback collection, and iterative improvements.
Provide technical leadership on the product roadmap, including standard-setting for how agents and automations are designed, reviewed, documented, and shipped across service lines.
Review and mentor engineers working on AI automation across PR, SEO and AEO, organic social, and ecommerce; unblock teammates and raise the quality bar.
Run intake and prioritization of automation requests based on revenue impact, time saved, or client retention.
Report progress, blockers, and measured impact to the CTO and present updates to leadership.
Build systems that create business advantages, including examples such as autonomous media buying, creative-to-landing-page pipelines, and creator performance ranking.

Requirements

Background in growth marketing, including hands-on paid media experience on Instagram and Facebook, Google, or TikTok, with understanding of campaign structure, pixels and events, attribution windows, creative testing, and interpreting results.
Hands-on experience with the Meta Marketing API and the TikTok Business or TikTok Shop APIs, plus other marketing platform APIs such as Google Ads and Shopify and Klaviyo and affiliate and creator platforms, with proof of building against them beyond reading documentation.
Deep, current, hands-on knowledge of how the digital marketing industry operates, including where manual work sits and what clients pay for.
Extensive hands-on experience with AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) and strong coding practice, including version control, code review, environment and secrets management, testing, and documentation.
Experience leading others who build, such as principal engineer, founder, lead engineer, technical team lead, or leadership over product managers, and demonstrated ability to set and enforce a quality bar.
Experience building AI agents and automations in production, including prompts, tool use, approval gates, error handling, and monitoring, using an appropriate stack (Python or TypeScript, agent frameworks, and workflow platforms such as n8n or Make).
A portfolio of projects or code repositories you can walk through.
Based in, or relocating at your own expense to, Miami or Orlando; onsite.
