Azure Infrastructure Support (O&M Engineer) in Dayton, Ohio, oversees the administration, operations, and maintenance of a classified Azure environment. The role encompasses subscription and marketplace management, system monitoring, patching, automation, and support for AD and Linux infrastructure, while guiding CI/CD, security, and DevOps activities on Azure with mentorship and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support a Linux and Windows airgapped environment.
- Troubleshoot systems as needed and route trouble tickets and support requests to the Service Desk as required.
- Review and automate workload deployments to meet site specific requirements, enabling consumption of workloads from collateral and program read access for users on the same stack.
- Help automate the configuration and deployment of solutions and ensure code delivery into a USG owned software factory.
- Design, develop, and build an automated CI/CD pipeline to deliver complex software products into production.
- Advance the automated build process using tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Azure technologies.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure smooth code integration into the production environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Continuously improve and optimize infrastructure and automation processes.
- Operate with adaptability and constructive collaboration within a technically diverse team; commit to ongoing learning and awareness of industry trends.
- Support a cloud hosted DevOps platform in Azure leveraging cloud infrastructure such as Azure Kubernetes Service to accelerate software development.
- Lead, plan, design, and implement backlog tasks including component upgrades, feature requests, and bug fixes.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers to solve complex problems.
- Ensure security controls are implemented correctly.

Requirements
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Advanced technical competency in one or more of the following: Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Federated Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, Windows Server Update Services, YUM, ACAS Automation, Azure Monitor / Log Analytics, Kubernetes.
- Ability to manage an airgap Linux update infrastructure on behalf of the customer.
- Ability to submit required documentation in support of change configuration management processes.
- 5+ years of related experience in SCI/SAP environments.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or related field.
- 5-8 years demonstrated performance in related technology.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of leadership experience in the relevant area, or an equivalent level of leadership experience.
