PNC's ALM Technology organization is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to steer the design and development of software solutions within AML tech, providing technical guidance to peers and shaping how complex business needs are addressed through technology. The role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, with the broader team distributed across locations including Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; and Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs, and prepares the required technical and procedural documentation.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues, and reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $179,400.00 per year. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payments based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
