Compensation Overview
The stated annual base salary reflects a nationwide market range and encompasses a broad spectrum of possible salaries for this role across the country. The final salary will consider factors such as the scope and complexity of the role, its location, and the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, and experience, along with other employment conditions. In addition to base pay, performance-based cash incentives are available as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.
Salary Range: $126,500.00 - $208,700.00

What Is the Opportunity?
Our Data Engineering team builds pipelines that provide context for data and make it readily accessible to the enterprise. As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to expanding and modernizing our analytics landscape. In addition to strong analytical thinking, you will bring curiosity and the ability to translate data into stories and actionable insights using a range of data programming techniques. You will design, build, and deploy data solutions that capture, explore, transform, and utilize data to support artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives including GenAI efforts.
What Will You Do?
- Develop and operationalize complex data solutions, troubleshoot issues, apply transformations, and advocate for data cleansing and quality improvements.
- Design intricate data architectures to meet analytic needs.
- Analyze complex sources to determine value and decide which data to include in analytical processes.
- Incorporate core data management practices such as data governance, data security, and data quality.
- Collaborate within and across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products and the analytic environment.
- Perform data and system analysis, assess defects and incidents, and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Test data movement, transformations, and data components.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or equivalent.
- Eight years of related experience.
- Databricks experience including integration with DBT and Unity Catalog.
- Databricks Genie.
- Ab Initio.
- Snowflake.
- AI experience with Claude Code.
- TeraData.
- API development and integration into data pipelines.
- High proficiency with cloud platforms, programming languages, and modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to maintain a steady, predictable pace and deliver complete solutions in small batches while negotiating important tradeoffs.
- Demonstrated domain expertise with in-depth knowledge of current systems and some knowledge of adjacent systems and industry trends.
- Strong problem solving skills to ensure long lasting systems and innovative issue resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business partners.
- Ability to lead team members and foster a safe environment for others to learn and grow as engineers, with a proven track record of self motivation to identify opportunities and track team efforts.
