Role overview
You will design and implement sophisticated data solutions, address issues, apply transformations, and advocate for data cleansing and quality practices. The position emphasizes creating complex data architectures and evaluating data sources to determine value for analytics, while embedding data governance, security, and quality into solutions. Collaboration across teams helps deliver data products and educate end users within the analytics environment. You will also analyze data and systems to identify defects, test data movement and transformations, and resolve incidents as needed.
Responsibilities
- Build and operationalize complex data solutions, troubleshoot problems, apply transformations, and recommend data cleansing and quality strategies.
- Design complex data solutions that support analytics, AI/ML, and BI initiatives.
- Analyze heterogeneous data sources to determine value and determine which data should be included in analytical processes.
- Incorporate core data management practices, including data governance, data security, and data quality.
- Collaborate within and across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products and the analytic environment.
- Perform data and system analysis, assess and resolve defects and incidents, and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
- Test data movement, transformation code, and data components to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
- 4+ years of data engineering experience.

Salary range: $126,500.00 - $208,700.00 per year
