Ab Initio Data Engineer
Job Description
This onsite role in Charlotte, North Carolina focuses on Ab Initio data engineering within Infosys, combining stakeholder requirements capture, software design and documentation, development and testing of applications, integration of new features, and proactive system health management across the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Support targeted interviews and workshops to gather user needs, ensuring stakeholder requirements are accurately captured and documented.
- Engage in design discussions to specify software requirements and assist in producing process documentation.
- Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, aligning with detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.
- Plan and execute test activities, evaluate results, and communicate defects to the development team to drive software performance improvements.
- Facilitate the integration of new software features, enabling smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure.
- Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues promptly, and create comprehensive documentation to support ongoing maintenance.
- Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team's knowledge repository.
