This Senior Software Engineer position will support the development and modernization of enterprise applications for Capital Markets and Treasury Technology at INFOSYS NOVA HOLDINGS LLC. The role is based in Charlotte, NC and focuses on scalable application delivery, data pipelines, APIs, automation, and AWS-backed infrastructure using Python and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Terraform.
- Build scalable data pipelines, APIs, automation frameworks, and backend services supporting Capital Markets and Treasury operations.
- Write clean, reusable, well-tested Python code aligned with engineering best practices.
- Develop and enhance web applications, dashboards, and workflow tools using Dash/Flask, React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks.
- Modernize legacy applications and manual processes through automation and improved software architecture.
- Collaborate with Capital Markets, Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support AWS cloud infrastructure components including ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, and Security Groups.
- Manage source control, automated testing, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Identify and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application defects.
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions, including agentic workflows, RAG, and enterprise AI integrations.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, documentation, and mentorship for engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience, including application design, testing, and performance optimization.
- Strong SQL expertise, including relational databases, complex queries, optimization, and data modeling.
- Experience designing and developing data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise application architectures.
- Experience developing solutions supporting Capital Markets, including securities, derivatives, hedging, or interest rates.
- Experience with JavaScript and modern web application development.
- Experience with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, and production support.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders.

Location and Compensation
Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite)
Salary: USD 90,000 - 110,000 per year
