AI Engineer (Cyber-Defense)

Fully onsite in Washington, DC, this Senior AI Engineering role focuses on building and deploying AI and LLM-powered applications for cyber-defense use cases, including agentic AI designed to perform in adversarial or contested environments. You will work at the intersection of model behavior, orchestration, and real-world constraints, with a compensation package that includes competitive salary and equity plus comprehensive health coverage.

What you’ll do

• Build and deploy AI/LLM-powered applications end to end
• Develop autonomous agentic AI systems with hands-on execution
• Apply experience across agentic AI, multi-agent systems, orchestration, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and autonomous decision-making
• Design and build agents that operate in adversarial or contested environments

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Experience with the Python, PyTorch, and ML stack
• Hands-on experience building autonomous agentic AI systems
• Deep familiarity with how frontier models behave
• Rigorous instincts on the data side
• Knowledge of running models on constrained hardware
