Job Description
Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice brings people, ideas, technology, and outcomes to federal, state, and local government clients and public higher education institutions. Within the AI & Data offering, the team designs, develops, and operates data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. This role is project delivery-focused, with an emphasis on delivering services to clients without additional expectations related to business development or promotion.
Location: Washington, DC (onsite)
Salary range: USD 113,000 to 188,400 per year
What You’ll Do
As an Analytics and Insights Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions that support client reporting and investigative use cases. You will use Python, SQL, and platform tools to develop analytics and discovery capabilities, then collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, curated datasets, and analytics solutions for client reporting and mission needs
- Develop and enhance analytics, search, and data discovery capabilities using Python, SQL, and platform tools
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, generate insights, and support investigative use cases
- Coordinate with client stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data and analytics solutions meet requirements
- Support reliable outputs through testing, documentation, deployment support, and ongoing data quality activities
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting data, analytics, or business intelligence solutions
- 4+ years of experience with Python
- 3+ years of experience using Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Active Top Secret clearance with completed adjudication, and the ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Ability to travel 0-10% on average based on work, clients, and industries/sectors served
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

Compensation and Benefits
Eligible candidates may participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, where any award depends on factors including individual and organizational performance.
