Job Description

Solize USA Corporation seeks a Crash Safety CAE Engineer to perform crash analysis and simulations for vehicle development at the Advanced Development Center in Raymond, OH. The role utilizes ANSA and LS-DYNA, with reporting duties and collaboration across engineering functions to advance crash safety capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct crash safety CAE assessments to support vehicle development programs.
  • Create and modify finite element models using ANSA.
  • Configure and run crash simulations with LS-DYNA.
  • Evaluate crash simulation results with Meta-Post or comparable post-processing tools.
  • Interpret crashworthiness performance and provide engineering recommendations.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate simulation findings to engineering teams.
  • Support ongoing vehicle crash safety development activities within a Linux-based CAE environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance vehicle safety performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience conducting automotive Crash Safety CAE analyses.
  • Proficiency in ANSA.
  • Experience with LS-DYNA.
  • Knowledge of Meta-Post or equivalent post-processing software.
  • Experience in Linux-based CAE environments.
  • Experience preparing finite element models and executing crash simulations.
  • Ability to analyze crashworthiness performance and provide engineering recommendations.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation and engineering reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
