Job Description

Lockheed Martin RMS offers an onsite opportunity in Hanover, MD for a Cyber System Security Engineer Staff. The position carries a salary range of USD 123,500 to 217,695 per year, eligibility for TS/SCI with Poly clearance, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Relocation is possible for qualifying candidates. The role supports a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off and is performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. You will work on SIGINT survey and geo-location systems with collaboration between development, operational, and lab environments, delivering Tier-3 support and partnering with government engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLF, LF, MF, HF, VHF, UHF, and Wireless SIGINT survey, collection, and geo-location systems and software across prototypes, development, operational, test, and lab environments.
  • Provide technical and engineering third-tier services to troubleshoot system failures or degradations and restore equipment to full operation, including 24x7 on-call support for critical discrepancies unresolved by lower tiers.
  • Integrate, test, and optimize systems with enterprise infrastructures, services, and databases.
  • Develop technical documentation to support system product lines and engineering activities.
  • Assist government engineers with creation, update, and management of system product-line standards and databases.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • A Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience, reducing the total required experience to two (2) years.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted.
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly SP.
