Cybersecurity Engineer - Insider Threat

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer - Insider Threat to support specialized cybersecurity work onsite in Richmond, VA. This role centers on security-engineering execution across the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through testing, integration, and demonstration. The position offers a salary range of USD 120,000 to 125,000 per year and is built for an engineer who can apply structured, analytical problem-solving to information systems security.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
• Provide security-engineering support across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
• Analyze information security requirements to support secure outcomes for system capabilities.
• Use analytical and systematic approaches to resolve problems related to workflow, organization, and planning.

Requirements

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• Current DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at the time of proposal submission.
• Primary DCWF Work Role: 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support with Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• Secondary DCWF Work Role: 451: System Administrator with Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
• Four (4) years of experience maintaining Insider Threat solutions in a DoD environment.
