Responsibilities
- Identify, inventory, and audit network assets within your area, capturing details such as model and version
- Apply routing, switching, and network architecture knowledge to map assets and evaluate the impact of vulnerabilities, including End-of-Life and End-of-Support status
- Help establish a baseline of normal operations and implement threat detections to alert on deviations
- Collaborate on daily security operations with team members and platform owners, including scans, monitoring, dashboards, and where appropriate, automation
- Contribute to incident response protocols to quickly identify, contain, and resolve network security incidents
- Advance security posture by implementing Network Security Fundamentals such as Access Management, Situational Awareness, Configuration Hardening, and Vulnerability Mitigation
- Own the network security scorecard, driving clarity, maturity, and expertise across the team
- Validate that security controls for the networks operate effectively and as designed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of relevant work experience
- Three or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work, military service, or specialized training
- Experience with networks, 4G/5G wireless network functions, or virtualization technologies such as OpenStack and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python or related automation skills

Where you'll be working
This is a hybrid role with a defined location that blends remote work and in-person collaboration. You will be in the office a minimum of three days per week, as determined by your manager, and you are expected to adhere to hybrid work policies.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $81,000 to $155,000, depending on location, confirmed job-related skills, and experience. This position may include incentive-based pay based on performance.
