Generative AI Engineer III
Job Description
Based in Seattle and delivering on-site collaboration, this Generative AI Engineer III role sits within Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice. The position carries a minimum of one year of related experience and centers on designing, building, testing, and deploying ML and AI solutions, constructing data pipelines and production components, analyzing data, and partnering with stakeholders to lift model performance and scalability for client use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy ML and AI solutions for business and client scenarios
- Create and maintain data pipelines, model training workflows, and production-ready components that support AI-enabled products
- Examine structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns, derive insights, and support model development and validation
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor model and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field
- At least five years of professional experience designing, developing, deploying, or supporting ML, AI, or advanced analytics solutions
- Three or more years of experience programming in Python, PySpark, PyTorch, and TensorFlow
- Minimum of one year of technology consulting experience in the State Government or Local Government space
- Current certification in Python, PySpark, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Ability to travel approximately 20 percent on average based on client needs and engagements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
