Responsibilities
- Act as the representative of the Information System Security Manager to ensure adherence to information security procedures.
- Support operations to operate, maintain, and dispose of information system materials in line with security directives and the System Security Plan annotations.
- Develop and deliver security training to ensure users understand their responsibilities before system access.
- Initiate protective and corrective actions when incidents or vulnerabilities are identified.
- Verify that IA hardware and software comply with security configuration guides.
- Implement and enforce IA policies and procedures as defined by A&A documentation.
- Ensure users are aware of their IA responsibilities.
- Balance multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Perform Operations & Sustainment functions for the NCE network security infrastructure including firewalls, web gateways, mail gateways, IDS, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
- Maintain and configure equipment to protect the network from emerging cyber threats.
- Leverage cloud infrastructure and AWS based technologies.
- Utilize security tools such as ACAS, HBSS, Carbon Black, Tanium, RedSeal, and EMET.
- Conduct forensic traffic and log analysis to isolate issues or respond to analyst alerts.
- Respond to escalated troubleshooting requests and maintain network infrastructure standards and documentation.
- Present monitoring results and test findings as required; participate in integration testing and special projects.
- Review Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and perform technical decomposition, remediation, and lien resolution.
- Execute remediation to address vulnerabilities via ACAS scans; install, harden, deploy, document, and troubleshoot perimeter security technologies.
- Develop scripts on Unix and RHEL, use Microsoft macros and PowerShell, and possess basic understanding of Windows Enterprise AD and VMware virtualization.
- Proficiency in network routing and VLAN technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience
- May vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- U.S. Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefits
Salary range for this role is USD 159,850 to 164,382 per year, with final compensation determined by experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. In addition to base pay, the position includes comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, matched 401K contributions, and paid time off.
