Licensed Mechanical Engineer

Integrated Design Consultants, LLC is seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer in Bel Air, Maryland to support mechanical building design across commercial, retail, and industrial facilities. In this onsite role, you will develop HVAC and plumbing drawings for permitting and construction and coordinate closely with electrical engineering drawing work.

You will use your engineering license to produce design documentation, review and certify drawing sets within the office, and collaborate with internal teams and clients throughout the design process. The position also includes attending site visits to document existing conditions, including work that may require surveying above ceilings and on rooftops.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare HVAC and plumbing design drawings suitable for permit and construction use.
• Complete design work in AutoCAD and/or Revit in accordance with office and industry standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the team in the office, as well as with clients, as part of interdisciplinary efforts.
• Attend site visits and document existing system conditions, with willingness to survey above ceilings, on rooftops, and similar areas.
• Review and certify design drawings in the office.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer License (Required)
• Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
