Machine Learning Engineer
Job Description
ServiceNow is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Moveworks team in Mountain View, onsite. This role centers on improving a search-based question-answering platform through ranking, information retrieval, and natural language processing, collaborating with product, UX, and engineering teams. The position offers a salary range of USD 139,700 to 216,500 per year.
Responsibilities
- Craft new ranking features and optimize existing ones to improve relevance metrics
- Develop an algorithmic framework to support diversified ranking features
- Design platform and tooling to enable parallel ranking experiments
- Develop metrics to evaluate ranking performance
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with traditional information retrieval techniques or machine learning based ranking models
- Ability to derive insights from query log analysis and identify opportunities to enhance search quality
- Background in text processing, information retrieval, natural language understanding, or machine learning
