Location and compensation: Mountain View, California, onsite. Salary range is USD 161,300 to 274,200 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine ranking features and optimize existing ones to improve relevance metrics
- Build an algorithm framework to support a diversified set of ranking features
- Design platform tooling to enable parallel ranking experiments
- Define and implement metrics to evaluate ranking performance
Requirements
- First-hand experience in traditional information retrieval techniques or machine learning based ranking models
- Ability to derive insights from query log analysis and identify opportunities to improve search quality
- Background in text processing, information retrieval, natural language understanding, or machine learning
