Machine Learning Engineer for Pangle ads within TikTok USDS, focusing on building and optimizing bidding and ad-prediction models in real-time, large-scale advertising systems in San Jose, CA onsite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine bidding algorithms and strategies across Pangle's ad delivery stack, covering targeting, retrieval, ranking, and bidding models to boost monetization efficiency and overall ad ROI.
• Enhance performance and efficiency of large-scale online-learning deep models used for real-time advertising.
• Leverage advanced modeling techniques to improve attribution accuracy, delivery quality, and long-term ecosystem sustainability.
• Identify and drive innovative commercialization technologies and product solutions.
• Design, implement, and iterate core ad prediction models such as CTR and CVR.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience building and training complex, scalable machine learning systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient coding skills with a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, especially deep learning and ranking models.
• Experience leading or driving machine learning projects.

Job Information

• Base salary range: $136,800 – $259,200 annually, in the selected city.
• Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
• Base pay is part of the total package and may include discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
