Job Description
The Principal AI Engineer will lead end-to-end development and deployment of high-priority propensity models, enabling precise microsegmentation and personalized customer experiences while mentoring engineers and partnering with marketing stakeholders.
Compensation
Salary: USD 120,500 - 231,000 per year.
Where You'll Be Working
This is a hybrid position with a defined work location that combines remote work and scheduled office days as determined by the manager. A minimum of three days per week in the office is expected, with adherence to the company’s hybrid work policies.
Work Schedule

Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy our most complex propensity models to forecast customer behaviors, churn risk, and key lifecycle triggers.
- Own end-to-end model development pipelines independently, including advanced feature engineering, production deployment, and continuous monitoring.
- Collaborate with high-visibility base management teams and senior marketing stakeholders to convert retention objectives into actionable data science solutions.
- Oversee the lifecycle of models deployed in high-impact areas, ensuring ongoing optimization, accuracy, and measurable business impact.
- Translate analytical outputs into microsegmentation strategies that empower marketing partners to deliver highly personalized experiences.
- Act as a technical mentor and advisor to senior and mid-level AI/ML engineers, sharing best practices for model optimization and data pipelines.
- Communicate complex model insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience requested, demonstrated through prior roles, military service, or specialized training.
- Four or more years of experience independently developing, deploying, and optimizing complex machine learning or propensity models in production.
- Experience contributing to high-priority or high-visibility initiatives within a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of LLM agent architecture including Google ADK, LangChain/LangGraph, multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation RAG, MCP, and A2A protocols.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), ONNX-based embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Familiarity with cloud-scale data engineering, such as BigQuery pipelines and Google Cloud Platform components (Cloud Run, Vertex AI).
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for advanced statistical modeling and large-scale data extraction.
