Professional Engineer (PE) – Agricultural / Environmental (Senior Level)

Weaver Environmental Partners is seeking a Senior Professional Engineer (PE) with an agricultural or environmental engineering background to lead stormwater, NPDES, and agricultural BMP design work.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and stamp stormwater and NPDES projects
• Lead engineering design efforts for agricultural BMPs and conservation practices
• Prepare plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates
• Conduct site visits, inspections, surveys, and test pits as needed
• Coordinate with internal staff, clients, and regulatory partners

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
• Experience with stormwater management and NPDES permitting
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience designing agricultural BMPs, including manure storage, heavy-use areas, and conservation practices
• Structural design experience for agricultural infrastructure (for example, roofed heavy-use areas)
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania DEP regulations, conservation districts, or clean water partners
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams
• Regionally focused field work with projects generally within reasonable driving distance for day trips

Location & Work Model

• West Chester, PA (hybrid)
• Fully remote role with occasional regional field work

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000 - $155,000 per year, based on experience, licensure, and scope
