Structural Engineer - Mid Level experience (PE preferred)

Join Armour Underfer Engineering as a full-time project engineer in a structural engineering practice serving commercial and retail buildings. The role is based in Bellevue, WA and supports a flexible work rhythm with onsite, in-person collaboration, site visits across the western US, and professional development support. Compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $130,000 per year, with benefits that support health, time off, and long-term planning.

What you’ll do

• Perform structural design and detailing for both new and existing commercial and retail buildings
• Complete feasibility studies and reports to support project evaluation
• Conduct site visits throughout the western US (typically day trips)
• Interface with clients, including attending client meetings
• Manage project deliverables while coordinating design work for structural scopes

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• PE license preferred
• Experience in commercial building design using all materials preferred
• Self-starter with a motivated team mindset
• ACAD skills mandatory; Revit is a plus
• Ability to travel
