Healthcare Water Safety Engineer position within the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System, Prescott, AZ (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Support the Construction and Capital Project process while coordinating with maintenance and operations to ensure compliance with SPS VHA Directive 1116(2) on management of critical and semi-critical reusable medical equipment.
- Plan, design, and oversee major healthcare system projects.
- Manage Professional Architecture/Engineering and Construction contracts to verify contractor adherence to all contractual requirements.
- Provide engineering support to the healthcare system and maintain up-to-date construction specifications and drawings.
- Maintain a technical reference library of applicable codes.
- Offer healthcare engineering support to all assigned projects.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen to apply.

- Proficient in written and spoken English.
