The Senior I&C Engineer role at Mbroh Engineering Inc is based in Dallas, TX with a hybrid work arrangement, focusing on the design and development of industrial control systems in water and wastewater contexts.
Responsibilities
- Develop project proposals, engineering budgets and schedules
- Perform site assessments to determine instrumentation and SCADA upgrade requirements
- Review existing project documents such as P&ID, system architecture and electrical drawings
- Coordinate with clients to capture specific needs
- Document findings by writing assessments or reports on existing conditions and recommendations
- Design and develop project drawings, including P&ID, system architecture, loop diagrams and installation details
- Create project specifications covering instrumentation, networking, control narrative strategies and software/hardware requirements for SCADA PLC and HMI systems
- Ensure Quality Control and Quality Assurance of project documents
- Conduct project meetings with clients
- Review and comment on project submittals
- Coordinate with the electrical engineering department
- Assist and mentor junior engineers in specification creation, design reviews and feasibility analysis for construction

Position Summary and Responsibilities
The Senior I&C Engineer position requires eight to ten years of experience designing and developing industrial control systems, preferably in the water/wastewater industry. Projects assigned typically include the following:
- Develop project proposals, engineering budgets and schedules
