Millennium Corporation is hiring a Red Team Security Engineer for a hybrid position based in Washington, DC. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility and focuses on Red Team operations alongside related security engineering and monitoring activities.

Salary
USD 135,000 - 145,000 per yearly

Clearance and Education
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility
- BS plus 5+ years of experience
- Additional 5 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and detect cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision.
- Support integrated, dynamic cyber defense by coordinating and maintaining security toolsets for continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs.
- Assist in establishing a framework to measure and quantify cyber risk.
- Determine security requirements by researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses; performing risk assessments.
- Study architecture and platform details and identify integration issues.
- Implement security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment, preparing preventive and reactive measures, and providing technical support to SOC, Blue Team, and other defenders.
- Complete required documentation for implemented and maintained security systems.
- Verify security systems by developing and implementing test scripts.
- Maintain security by monitoring and ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct incident response analyses and develop and deliver training programs.
- Design, develop, implement, and integrate DoD-like IA architectures, systems, or system components for computing, network, and enclave environments.
- Ensure system architecture and design are functional and secure, including designs for program-of-record systems and special-purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.

- Desired (one or more): OSCP/E, GPEN, CEH, CCNA, CISSP
Business Development Support
- Assist with business development activities as needed to support Millennium’s strategic business objectives.
- Support may include participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support, and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
Role Summary
Under general supervision, the Red Team Security Engineer will perform in-depth Red Team operations and contribute to security engineering and monitoring efforts, including continuous monitoring support, security requirements development, system verification, compliance-focused maintenance, and IA architecture design and integration for computing, network, and enclave environments.
