Job Description

Robotics Technologies is hiring an AI Cybersecurity Engineer to help clients scope, design, and deliver AI and LLM-based cybersecurity solutions on an onsite basis in Tarrytown, NY. In this role, you will combine hands-on AI development with practical security engineering to move from early use-case discussions to prototypes and production-ready integrations.

You will work directly with client security stakeholders to identify where AI can strengthen detection, triage, and operational workflows, and ensure the resulting systems align with enterprise governance, privacy expectations, and regulated-environment requirements where they apply.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with client security stakeholders to scope AI use cases across areas such as threat detection, alert triage, vulnerability management, security operations automation, and policy or compliance analysis.
  • Run whiteboarding and design sessions, converting rough problem statements into clear architectures and delivery plans.
  • Build prototypes and production solutions quickly, leveraging AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, along with LLM and agent frameworks.
  • Integrate AI solutions into client environments, connecting to security tools and data sources including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IAM, and cloud security posture tooling.
  • Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise security, privacy, and governance needs, including GxP or other regulated-environment expectations where applicable.
  • Document designs, runbooks, and findings, and present progress and recommendations to client leadership.
  • Serve as the onsite technical point of contact for Agilisium, identify follow-on opportunities, and relay them to the account team.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or security architecture.
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or ML in a security context.
  • Practical use of AI coding tools, with Claude Code preferred, plus strong scripting and development skills in Python and PowerShell or Bash.
  • Working knowledge of security tooling and frameworks, including SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR, IAM, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Cloud security experience with AWS and/or Azure.
  • Excellent whiteboarding, communication, and client-facing skills, with comfort working directly with senior security stakeholders.
