AI Engineer

Experis is seeking an AI Engineer to support a banking cybersecurity organization focused on Security Operations and threat-detection initiatives. This onsite role in Jersey City, NJ 07311 centers on delivering GenAI and LLM-powered capabilities that help security teams identify, investigate, and respond to threats using enterprise security data.

What you’ll do

• Design and build AI-powered chatbots and agents for cybersecurity and threat-detection use cases.
• Develop agentic AI and GenAI solutions that let security teams query, analyze, and investigate security data using natural language.
• Integrate AI applications with security data in an enterprise Data Lakehouse and Databricks environment.
• Create solutions that analyze large security datasets to surface threats, anomalies, suspicious behavior, and emerging risk patterns.
• Develop and integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents into production applications.
• Build APIs and data integrations that connect AI applications to enterprise security data sources.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, and Security Operations teams to translate requirements into scalable AI capabilities.

What you bring

• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications, including chatbots and AI agents.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases/search, and agentic frameworks.
• Strong experience with Databricks and Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience working with large-scale data using SQL, Spark/PySpark, and APIs.

Compensation and benefits

Salary: USD 65 per hour. This is a weekly pay position.
