AI Engineer
Job Description
The AI Engineer role at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI (hybrid) centers on delivering analytical, machine learning, and AI solutions, with emphasis on data science, MLOps, and deploying AI/ML to enhance customer experience, revenue, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy AI and ML models and algorithms to tackle complex challenges.
- Prepare data through cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to ready datasets for model training.
- Train, assess, and optimize a range of machine learning models.
- Write and maintain reliable, efficient code in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Document code, experiments, and outcomes with clarity and conciseness.
- Collaborate closely with fellow engineers on the team.
- Operate within an agile development framework, collaborating with a product manager and peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, predictive analytics, statistics, marketing analytics, applied mathematics, or IT.
- At least three years of applying analytical methods with appropriate rigor.
- Minimum three years using AI/ML and data science software, including Python-based tools.
- Experience with generative AI technologies is required.
- Experience with cloud platforms and AI platforms.
