Role overview

We are seeking a strong Lead Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and development of a cloud-native, configuration-driven, event-based platform that supports healthcare payer workflows and Payment Integrity systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end engineering initiatives across the project lifecycle
  • Provide architectural guidance while contributing hands-on development
  • Build scalable metadata-driven and rule-engine systems
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams to align on objectives
  • Mentor developers and enforce engineering best practices

Requirements

  • 8+ years in software engineering
  • Strong expertise in Python or Java
  • Experience with configuration-driven platforms and rule engines
  • Solid SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
  • Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
  • AWS services: EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
  • CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps
  • Healthcare domain expertise with a focus on Payment Integrity
