AI Engineer, Platform and Data

Build and operate the core AI platform, covering data pipelines, orchestration, and production-grade APIs with a focus on reliability, integrity, and governed handling of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, clean, and structure data for downstream use
• Build the model and agent orchestration layer and the APIs applications consume
• Convert recurring, one-off engineering work into reusable platform primitives to increase future delivery without proportional headcount
• Define data quality frameworks and implement automated testing to support data integrity and reliability
• Own reliability, data integrity, and access control
• Implement data governance practices and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 6+ years in backend, data, or ML infrastructure engineering with experience shipping production systems at scale
• Strong data engineering background, including pipelines, transforms, and modeling messy real-world data into usable structure
• Experience building and operating APIs and services that other engineers build on
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, or model serving in production
• Rigor around data security and access control, ideally in regulated or sensitive data environments
• Based in the NYC metro area and able to work onsite

Compensation

• Base salary range in New York: USD 160,000 - 220,000 per year
• Eligible for a total rewards package including annual bonus opportunity, equity awards through the long-term incentive program, and a comprehensive benefits suite
