The Opportunity
As a Managed Services data engineer with Experienced Associate level, you will apply data and analytics to deliver strategic insights and support informed decision-making for clients. Within the Data & Analytics practice, you will design and implement innovative data solutions to optimize performance and strengthen competitive advantage. The role emphasizes learning, client engagement, and contributing to projects while building your skills to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data driven solutions to improve business performance and competitive position, covering data engineering and ETL.
- Apply advanced analytics to generate strategic insights and support decision making, including SQL optimization.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to streamline data collection and analysis, using DataStage.
- Leverage business intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView to create reports and dashboards from DB2 and SQL Server sources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, identifying patterns and trends within star schemas and dimensions.
- Apply data architecture development skills to design and maintain robust database management systems, including snowflake models.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance data quality and integrity.
- Support client engagements by listening to diverse perspectives and addressing needs in regulated environments.
- Contribute to the development of business cases and market strategies through data analysis and interpretation.
- Adapt to a fast paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver quality work, including job scheduling and UNIX-based work.
