AI Machine Learning Engineer

AI/ML Engineer to design and deploy AI driven technologies across Lockheed Martin, spanning concept to deployment and leveraging computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the AI team and product portfolio across the enterprise on a broad range of projects.
• Develop AI enabled technologies and products that deliver differentiating capabilities to internal teams, organizations, business areas, and customers.
• Participate in all stages of the system development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design, development, integration, and deployment.
• Engage in activities from early research (low TRL) through proofs of concept, prototype development, demonstrators, to production transition.
• Apply current AI paradigms such as computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.
• Take technical ownership of development tasks and assume responsibility for outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Strong Python experience with libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and LangChain.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, MXNet, or Caffe.
• Experience with network and messaging technologies including UDP, ZeroMQ, RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with compiled languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, and Go.
• Experience developing applications on Windows and Linux.
• Creative and resourceful problem-solving abilities.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
