Senior Cloud Security Engineer role in Chantilly, VA on-site with Booz Allen Hamilton.

Assess and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation activities to verify IT systems meet Information Assurance and security requirements.
Assist in defining the target state and risk thresholds, and analyze current state information to determine compliance.
Collaborate with leadership to translate strategic objectives into doctrine and procedures that support defined goals.
Evaluate applications, software, or specialized utilities to confirm adherence to software assurance best practices.
Recommend tools and capabilities based on research of the current environment and knowledge of on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to address RMF security requirements.
Apply technical expertise while working with IC clients to ensure information assurance and security standards are met.

Experience developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience working in an Agile development environment using Jira for tracking.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within six months of hire.

Projected salary range is USD 86,800 to 198,000 per year. Compensation is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.
