Cybersecurity Engineer

Hands-on Tier-2 cybersecurity engineer sought to evaluate, integrate, and deploy advanced security technologies while shaping policies and audits across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess, integrate, and deploy advanced information security technologies and policies across Seminole Tribe of Florida’s enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of security policies.
• Perform internal and external audits to verify compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to protect sensitive information.
• Vulnerability management and remediation.
• Log collection, correlation, and analysis.
• Access control and rights management.
• Patch and update compliance monitoring.
• Malware protection strategies and defenses.
• Intrusion prevention and active threat response.
• Continuous security monitoring and incident readiness.
• Compliance with external program requirements.
• Strengthen defenses, ensure regulatory adherence, and safeguard critical assets.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in an enterprise support environment with information security responsibilities.
• Knowledge of CJIS, COPPA, FERPA, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS regulatory standards.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
