Cybersecurity Engineer

CGI Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to support complex Information Assurance (IA) system and technology efforts. The role focuses on applying electronic processes and methodologies while analyzing information security requirements and providing security engineering support across the information system lifecycle.

Location and Work Setup

• Location: Columbus, OH (onsite)
• Client site work: Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
• Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to help resolve total system problems and technology problems connected to cybersecurity requirements.
• Analyze information security requirements.
• Apply analytical and systematic approaches to address issues related to workflow, organization, and planning.
• Provide security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• Clearance: DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Eligibility: Must be eligible for IT I.
• Certification requirements:
  • Relevant certification meeting DoD 8570/8140 IAT level III.
  • Relevant certification meeting DoD 8570/8140 CND IS.
• DCWF Work Roles:
  • Primary: DCWF Work Role 521 (Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support)
  • Secondary: DCWF Work Role 441 (Network Operations (NETOPS) Specialist)
• Experience supporting identification, prioritization, and coordination for the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
• Perform tasks as written within the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NICE Framework).
• Computing Environment: F5 Certified Technology Specialist is ASM (requires F5 CTS ASM certification).

Compensation

Salary: USD 127,500 to 251,100 per year.
