Cybersecurity Engineer

CGI Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to address complex information assurance challenges and support the engineering of secure information systems across the full lifecycle. The position is based in the Columbus, OH office with client-site work in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.

Role Overview

In this role, you will integrate electronic processes and methodologies to resolve total system and technology problems tied to information assurance (IA) requirements. You will analyze information security requirements and provide security engineering support across planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration activities for information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
• Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements.
• Analyze information security requirements.
• Apply analytical and systematic approaches to address problems involving workflow, organization, and planning.
• Provide security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Required Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• DOD Top Secret Clearance.
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III (one of the following certifications).
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS (one of the following certifications).
• Experience assisting in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
• Coordinate identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
• Task as written within the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NICE Framework).
• Example behavioral indicator / task permutation for performing this task at an Intermediate skills proficiency level.

Compensation and Location

• Location: Columbus, OH (onsite)
• Client work locations: Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.
• Salary: USD 127,500 - 251,100 per year
