Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE Senior Manager

Accenture is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to anchor the security dimension of agentic AI deployments from the Miami, Florida on-site location. The role blends hands-on security engineering with strategic governance, leading AI security architecture, threat modeling, and governance for live AI initiatives across complex client ecosystems. It calls for hands-on delivery using advanced AI coding tools to shield production environments while shaping secure AI programs for a broad set of clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AI security architecture and threat modeling for live agentic deployments across multi-stakeholder client environments, including large language models, multi-agent pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation systems, and MLOps stacks, guiding security design from assessment to hardened deployment.
• Provide practical security engineering in an agentic coding environment to build AI-powered detection, automated threat response tooling, security assessment frameworks, and governance automation using Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in daily work.
• Manage AI-specific threat surfaces at program scale, implementing OWASP LLM Top 10 controls, hardening prompts, preventing model extraction, defending against adversarial inputs, and securing AI supply chains across concurrent client workstreams.
• Architect and govern security controls across the enterprise AI stack, covering identity and access for AI systems, data pipeline security, model serving security, and integration risk across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Drive the implementation of AI governance frameworks aligned with regulatory guidance (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and model risk management applied to live production systems.
• Shape security strategy for client CISOs and CTOs, building risk-adjusted investment cases, roadmaps for security architecture, and AI governance operating models tied to business outcomes.
• Create reusable security patterns, playbooks, and accelerators to scale across client engagements and grow the Secure AI practice.
• Lead architecture design sessions, threat modeling workshops, and collaborative coding sessions with client engineering and security leadership teams.
• Demonstrate cybersecurity expertise in at least one discipline such as application security, SecOps, IAM, cloud security, GRC, or offensive security.
• Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and client engagement activities, shaping solutions with commercial considerations in mind.
• Facilitate executive workshops and communicate effectively with C-suite and CISO audiences.
• Apply structured analytical thinking and hypothesis-driven problem decomposition to engagements.
• Provide team leadership, mentoring managers and consultants through delivery milestones.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in production environments with deep cybersecurity expertise in at least one domain (such as applications security, SecOps/detection engineering, cloud security, IAM, offensive security, or GRC).
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production environments; theoretical familiarity is not sufficient.
• At least 8 years of end-to-end security delivery ownership in client-embedded or production contexts; internal advisory or compliance-only roles do not qualify.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with cloud security fundamentals across at least one provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IAM, network security, secrets management, and AI service security configurations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years). If holding an Associate’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
