Data Engineer
Job Description
Data Engineer at Agile Defense (NORTHCOM), on-site in Colorado Springs, with Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operationally deploy scalable, AI-enabled data solutions within the DoD's CDAO ADA IR program.
- Shape and deploy data pipelines, pre-processing workflows, feature engineering strategies, and machine learning services inside secure, containerized environments.
- Collaborate with product managers, full‑stack developers, platform engineers, and mission stakeholders to convert raw data into actionable insights and decision-support tools.
- Operate in agile settings that emphasize reproducibility, testing, and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- Clearance: Top Secret; must have clearance to start.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in data engineering or software engineering with demonstrated experience designing and managing complex data pipelines, or equivalent relevant work.
- Skills: Experience with data visualization and storytelling using Palantir MSS Workshop and Palantir Slate applications.

Compensation
- Salary: USD 150,000 - 170,000 per year.
