Job Description

Quest Global is expanding its data capabilities in Sunnyvale with a Data Engineer AI who will design and maintain data pipelines, validate datasets, and translate findings into AI-enabled solutions that inform business decisions. This onsite role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights and to advance AI integration across offerings.

Compensation

USD 105,000 - 110,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Perform root cause analysis on processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and answer questions
  • Design and deploy data transformation pipelines, manage workloads, structure data, and handle dependencies and metadata
  • Run data validation checks, correct errors, and uphold quality throughout the data lifecycle
  • Explore datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
  • Analyze data for stakeholders and non-technical audiences and build models to produce actionable insights for efficient business decisions
  • Build data pipelines that cleanse, transform, and aggregate data from diverse sources
  • Collaborate with data to address business problems and maintain the infrastructure that enables questions and process improvements
  • Streamline data science workflows to enhance product offerings and contribute to customer lifecycle and retention models

What you will bring

  • Develop and enhance data visualization tools using Tableau and ThoughtSpot
  • Work with Snowflake and its built-in infrastructure, SQL, Python, Excel, and Numbers
  • Utilize presentation and collaboration tools such as Quip, Keynote, Miro, and Slack
  • Familiarity with machine learning tools like datarobot
  • Project management experience
  • Provide support to a wide range of business teams
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills

Work requirements

  • You must be able to commute to Sunnyvale with your own transportation to meet required working hours
  • Shop floor environment may involve extensive walking and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs
