Databricks Data Engineer

This onsite role in Richardson, TX offers an opportunity to contribute across the full software development lifecycle as a Databricks Data Engineer within Infosys Technology Consultant 2. You will engage in requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding, testing, training, and production support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned portions of business requirements to support the requirements elicitation process, following the guidance provided.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and record design decisions to guide the technical team toward effective solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with emphasis on maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, implement changes to the codebase, and manage code repositories to keep projects organized.
• Develop and implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software.
• Actively assist in resolving production issues and propose preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base for similar projects.
