Job Description
Join Constellation Energy onsite in Kennett Square, PA as an Electrical I and C Engineer supporting nuclear plant operations. In this role, you will apply advanced engineering problem-solving to make technical decisions guided by industry codes and regulations. Compensation: USD 92,700 - 154,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Deliver deep technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
- Provide engineering consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Own complete task management for engineering issues from assignment through completion.
- Complete assigned engineering tasks using engineering principles and guidance from supervision.
- Be accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, including proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes when preparing plans and specifications.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses that support technical projects and programs.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, and ensure alignment with changes in codes or regulations.
- Perform other duties as directed by management or company policy, which may include emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities outside the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level E02 Engineer).
- For Mid-level E02 Engineer: maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and meet favorable medical examination and/or testing requirements based on position duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience (Senior E03 Engineer).
- For Senior E03 Engineer: maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and meet favorable medical examination and/or testing requirements based on position duties.
