Information Security Engineer - Vulnerability Management III

In this Information Security Engineer roles focusing on Vulnerability Management III, you will support day-to-day data security operations, monitor IT policy compliance, and coordinate investigation and reporting of security incidents with an emphasis on vulnerability management across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy enterprise security tools and architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strengthen the network vulnerability management program for in-scope subsidiaries and affiliates.
• Outline security environments and lead onboarding of new applications, programs, processes, projects, and initiatives into the Enterprise Vulnerability Management Program.
• Coordinate communication, escalation, and remediation of open vulnerabilities spanning infrastructure, application security, and configuration management.
• Carry out security research on threats and remediation approaches, recommending actions to IS and IT teams and overseeing their implementation.
• Proactively monitor and investigate alerts from managed security service providers and internal security tools.
• Perform risk assessments to evaluate control effectiveness and assess the impact of proposed changes to business processes, applications, and systems.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and provision of control evidence as needed.
• Analyze threats and conduct incident response by interpreting security events.
• Support operational information security duties by developing and maintaining standards, procedures, and guidelines for the Enterprise Vulnerability Management Program.
• Share knowledge and industry best practices with team members.
• Serve as a security engineer and consultant on projects.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven history presenting to senior leaders and large groups on matters affecting major projects and key functionality.
• Lead and implementation experience
• Performing referral to principal
• Proven, consistent experience in vulnerability management, security engineering, and security consulting
• Proven experience with proactive threat management, research, escalation, and discovery
