Lead ISSE / Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploys and enforces secure IAM, RBAC, and PAM controls while evaluating Zero Trust integration
• Supports STIG, SCAP, and ACAS security testing activities
• Analyzes penetration test findings and translates them into remediation steps
• Develops remediation strategies for cloud-hosted and containerized applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least ten years of cybersecurity engineering experience, with five+ years in cloud security, DevSecOps security, or RMF engineering for DoD or federal cloud-hosted systems
• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CASP+, or equivalent (required or preferred); Security+ required; AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Kubernetes security certification preferred
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at an intermediate to advanced level
• Effective communication with all organizational levels and external contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level; Top Secret preferred
• U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
