This onsite Network Engineer II role in Monterey, CA supports the DLIFLC at the Presidio of Monterey and focuses on monitoring, testing, and analyzing network facilities, as well as planning, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the network.
Salary range: USD 90,000 - 103,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, test, and analyze the network infrastructure.
- Plan, install, and maintain network components, including after-hours work as required.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and wireless issues.
- Support firewall, wireless, and NAC operations across Palo Alto, Extreme/Aruba, and ClearPass/ISE.
- Document configurations and changes in the ITSM platform.
Requirements
- AA/AS in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years of progressive computer system/network engineering experience, including 2+ years of specialized experience.
- Active IAT Level II certification (one of: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
- CCNA or equivalent (3 years documented experience may substitute).
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks, Extreme Networks, HPE Aruba (or equivalent), and ClearPass (or Cisco ISE).
- Wireless network deployment, implementation, configuration, and management experience.
- NAC management, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience.
- U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
