Network Engineer (TS/SCI)

About the role

You will apply your TS/SCI clearance to help design and secure enterprise networks across multiple data centers, with on-site work in Colorado Springs. This role supports secure digital transformation for public sector clients and aligns with Deloitte's GPS delivery model and security-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure physical network hardware.
• Hands on work with security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering.
• Work with network security technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
• Automate and script to support network deployments.
• Operate in a large-scale enterprise network environment spanning multiple data centers with high availability requirements.
• Leverage knowledge of network systems to design and install internal and external networks.
• Test and evaluate network systems to identify problems and implement improvements.
• Support hardware testing and architecture evaluations to aid in developing custom solutions for evolving needs.
• Provide feedback to the software development team within a Scaled Agile Framework environment contributing to DevSecOps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Onsite work in Colorado Springs, CO five days a week.
• 3+ years in Network Engineering.
• 3+ years in Firewall Management.
• 3+ years in Linux - Red Hat.
• 3+ years in Cisco IP Routing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; effective written and verbal communication; meticulous attention to detail; ability to mentor and guide others; strong project or workstream leadership capabilities; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; ability to meet deadlines.
