Product Security Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
As a Product Security Engineer (AI Trainer), you will support the training of AI models for cybersecurity use cases. The role focuses on reviewing AI-generated security content, assessing technical accuracy, and providing feedback that helps improve future model outputs. This is a fully remote contract opportunity based in Lancaster, TX, with a flexible schedule and hourly pay.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques.
- Design and solve security-oriented technical problems used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide feedback intended to directly influence the next generation of AI security models.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work, including government or military cyber operations.
- Some coding experience required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) with strong writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, including OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials.
Compensation and Contract Details

- Pay: USD $50 to $100 per hour
