Job Description
Mirion offers an onsite engineering role in Atlanta that centers on advancing Radiation Monitoring System projects from design through deployment. You will translate customer requirements into tested, documented solutions, lead post‑production and factory acceptance testing, and provide ongoing engineering support, including occasional onsite training or commissioning. This position gives you direct exposure to Mirion’s RAMSYS portfolio, opportunities to participate in design reviews, and a clear path to grow through hands-on training and customer engagement.

Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test procedures, user manuals, and engineering analyses for RAMSYS projects
- Review drawings during design phases to ensure conformance to specifications
- Lead post‑production and factory acceptance testing of customer projects
- Provide post‑delivery engineering support, including occasional onsite training or commissioning
- Deliver comprehensive project and technical support for RAMSYS products and projects
- Provide on‑site and off‑site customer technical support
- Assist in generating technical offers, test procedures, and test reports
- Conduct acceptance and qualification testing and nuclear calibration as required
- Dedicate to CGI processes and deliver CGI dedication procedures
- Coordinate training sessions on site and off site
- Supervise system configuration and installation activities
- Review RFQs and help prepare technical proposals
- Support all phases of project negotiation and execution
- Evaluate process monitor characteristics for specific applications
- Configure or modify RAMSYS monitors to meet customer specifications
- Establish test procedures and perform post‑production tests
- Generate technical specifications for products and subcontractors; review production files (drawings & BOM)
- Perform root cause analyses and failure mode and effect analyses
- Prepare project compliance matrices and system test/calibration documentation
- Carry out system acceptance/qualification testing and nuclear calibration; prepare related reports
- Address nonconformances when necessary
- Provide on‑site installation supervision and customer assistance
- Write system‑specific operating instructions and manuals
- Lead on‑site and off‑site training sessions
- Offer online customer support as needed and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Demonstrate equipment to customers in multiple settings
- Evaluate RMS equipment operation and performance
- Write or revise CGI dedication procedures and support RAMSYS marketing materials
- Support sales and marketing efforts with product feedback
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; meet training and performance goals
- Participate in approved educational activities to deepen knowledge of Mirion’s product portfolio
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nuclear, electrical, mechanical or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Location: Atlanta, GA onsite
