Senior AI Engineer
Job Description
Join Brooksource as a Senior AI Engineer to design and scale production-grade agentic AI applications and autonomous systems in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize multi-agent workflows for reasoning, tool usage, memory management, and orchestration
- Convert defined business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions
- Work with AI Engineering leadership on architecture and implementation of enterprise AI initiatives
- Create reusable AI services and components that can be applied across multiple business domains
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services that support AI applications
- Integrate AI solutions with internal enterprise platforms, APIs, and databases
- Write clean, testable, maintainable PySpark code using established software engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize AI workflows to improve latency, reliability, and cost
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards for AI development
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and GenAI Engineering teams on shared AI platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise with PySpark and SQL
- Data-first approach when building AI and GenAI solutions
- Experience leveraging GenAI solutions to work with hundreds of millions of data items

Pay and Work Schedule
- Pay: USD $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
